In 1985, founded a computer consultancy specialising in the customisation of marketing and financial packages. Projects for league football clubs, petrol retailers and the Manchester Business School, provided a wealth of hands-on business experience.
Working with Marketing Workshop, I found that my ability to understand and translate high technology language to suit the intended audience made a positive and growing contribution to the business. This was formally recognised by forming a partnership in 1987 and name change to Ainsworth Maguire.
From building our PCs and network, through software implementation, and now migrating to the cloud, I retain my keen sense of technology and apply these skills to the benefit of our clients in PR. Indeed with the internet, mobile communications, social media, digital photography and video, it seems my skills are more relevant to technology PR than ever.
