PORTABLE MORTUARY BRIDGES THE GAP DURING CONSTRUCTION AND MODERNISATION 

Upgrading existing facilities at hospitals can create short-term pressures on mortuary capacity. The units are available at 24 hours notice for hire periods of one month or more.

Octaveward offer a complete turnkey solution for mortuaries and pathology suites.  This includes cold rooms, racks and trays, refrigeration units, pathology tables, trolleys and all internal fittings installed – within permanent or re-locatable buildings.

Complete mobile suites can be designed and delivered to site in four to six weeks.  In addition to cold rooms and clinical facilities, other options include waiting rooms, viewing areas, offices, toilets, shower and changing facilities.  The specification and layout of each unit depends on client needs.

Portable units are generally based on a standard 40 by 12 foot jack-leg units.  These can be installed on any reasonably level site, such as car parks and paved areas or on prepared sites with concrete pads to take the cabin legs.  Units are supplied in a clean and sterile condition.  Once connected to mains services the units are available for immediate use.
