NEW HVAC DUCTSHOP – BOOST FOR LEEDS TRADING PARK

Already a magnet for construction trades, the Copley Hill Trading Estate, off Whitehall Road, is now home to a 5500 square foot Hargreaves Ductshop.  The Ductshop provides a complete range of commercial and industrial ventilation products and joins other trade counters for plumbing, joinery and access equipment – making the estate a destination to collect construction components in a single trip.

The new Ductshop follows the new Hargreaves format which has proved popular with contractors in heating and ventilation, construction and associated trades.  Comfortable spacious waiting areas allow visitors to relax with a paper and a coffee while their order is picked and loaded on to their vehicles for them.  Depot manager Ashley Kemp commented, “The new place is more like a car showroom than a trade counter.  We have set up the depot to turn round orders quickly, but want people to be comfortable while they wait.”

Senior Hargreaves, the company behind the new venture, is one of the UK’s largest ventilation equipment manufacturers and the Ductshop will carry over £100,000 in stock.  This will be constantly replenished from their factory in Bury.    Everything required to complete a project will be stocked in a full range of sizes including spiral duct and fittings, flexible ductwork, accessories and support systems fans, silencers, filters, grilles, diffusers and dampers.  Highly trained staff will be on hand to help customers select the right products.

Director of Ductshops, Phil Johnson, concluded, “The Leeds and Yorkshire area is thriving and the new Ductshop will allow local contractors to buy the items they need quickly and efficiently, in a just-in-time fashion.”
