Taking Responsibility for your PR

The partners take personal responsibility in creating and running your PR programme. Where public relations activity requires the support of other marketing disciplines such as advertising, design (web and traditional) and print, photography and so on, then we can select the right balance of experienced and skilled professionals for each project.

Kevin Ainsworth - Partner

Kevin started Marketing Workshop in 1985, following a 12 year post-college career in industrial sales and marketing. This included experience in HVAC, insulation and industrial coatings. The aim of Marketing Workshop was to provide marketing support to industrial firms. It became clear that the skill most sought after by these companies was public relations, provided by people with real industrial and business to business experience and understanding.

Shortly after forming Marketing Workshop, joint work began with AM Micro-Services, founded in 1985 by Adrian Maguire. The common aims of the two companies led to a merger in 1987 and the formation of a B2B PR agency, Ainsworth Maguire. The sole objective of the company is to provide business to business PR services for construction, engineering and technology companies.

Kevin Ainsworth has been a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations since 1990 and is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Adrian Maguire - Partner

In 1985 Adrian founded a computer consultancy specialising in system customisation of marketing databases and integrated financial packages. Projects for league football clubs, petrol forecourt retailers and the Manchester Business School, provided a wealth of hands-on business understanding and experience.

Adrian began working with Marketing Workshop soon after its foundation in 1985. His ability to understand and translate high technology language to suit the intended audience has been a positive contribution to the business. This was formally recognised by the formation of a partnership in 1987 and a name change from Marketing Workshop to Ainsworth Maguire.

Adrian Maguire has been a full member of the Charterd Institute of Public Relations since 1990.

Elle Naylor - PA

A return to work mum of two. Over the last five years Elle set about keeping the partners organised and ensuring the office runs smoothly. Her adept PC skills and ability to find her way round news web sites has seen her role expand into handling our media database and searching the web for client mentions.

Extended Team

Sometime you may need more than pure PR services. Over the last 20 years we have developed a network of experienced and highly skilled professionals in web programming, business to consumer PR, advertising design, photography, sales consultancy, ideas generation, healthcare marketing, not for profit sector, translation, 3D visualisation and more. All these skills are on-tap if and when you need them, but not on the payroll when you don't. This proves cost effective and extremely efficient - delivering you the best team possible when required.
