HIGH SPEED JEWELRY PROCESSING FOR SMALL BATCHES

Depending on speed, media and process sequence the ECO can deburr, grind, smooth and polish to produce a high gloss surface. The system can be used for dry or wet processing and has an optional dosing pump. Processing is faster than in tumbling and vibration machines giving a useful productivity gain. The variable speed controller and timer enables consistent quality to be achieved without supervision, freeing time to work on more creative and productive tasks.

The ECO is a simple and effective alternative to industrial barrel tumbling machines that makes the process accessible and affordable for low volume producers. It is ideal for small studios. It offers true plug and play capability requiring only a standard 115 volt 60 Hz single phase power supply. The five liter drum will process up to 20-30 wedding band size pieces. A nine liter machine will be available soon.

Otec Precision Finish provide a full back-up service that includes media supply and a complete range of grinding and polishing pastes. Media types range from ceramic and plastic shapes to natural media such as walnut shells. The company will advise on the best media and process sequence for any given product and even test process samples.
