NEW POLISHING PERFECTION

The CF series derive their efficiency and reliability from quality in manufacture. A near zero gap between the spinning disk and the barrel, for example, prevents product or polishing media entrapment. This removes a common cause of breakdown and avoids product loss or damage. Elsewhere only resilient, high quality materials and parts are used that have been selected to give reliability and an extended service life.

Programmable logic controllers enable the optimum process cycle for each component to be retained in memory. This ensures consistent standards of finish and promotes productivity. Continual monitoring is not required. One operator can service several machines or return to other tasks once the machine is running. The metering of water during wet processing and the dosing of polishing paste can also be totally automated. Some users gain more output by running additional batches overnight.

CF machines are available in single, double and triple barrel configurations, with capacities from 9 to 50 litres. Double and triple machines are ideal for sequential processing. Product and media separation can be achieved by manual or automatic sieving. A special magnetic separation device is available for ferrous based components.

Otec Precision Finish provide a free consultancy and test processing service for new users. Trial batches of a customers components are processed to prove that the CF machine will meet the desired quality standard. These tests establish the optimum process time and ideal media combination. Post-sale the company provides full technical support, service and repair and also a full range of media and consumables.
