Heating and Ventilation Specialist Strengthens Sales Team

Two strategic appointments have been announced by Senior Hargreaves, the specialist HVAC ductwork contractor and supplier. In the major contracts division, Gary Parslow, formerly of Isotemp, has joined as business development manger. In a further appointment, Terry Smith is to look after the east London Ductshop trade counter business in Rainham.

Gary Parslow has 32 years experience in the HVAC industry. Previous heating and ventilation ductwork projects for which he was responsible include the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Dock 9 at the Royal Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth, Hunterston Power Station and work on the Large Hadron Collider at Cern.

Gary has a national role and will be nurturing existing key accounts and developing new business in the power, transport, commercial and industrial sectors. “This is a great time to be joining. Hargreaves has undergone a transformation in recent years with lean manufacturing, improved quality and the introduction of environmental impact mitigation systems. The new CEO, Tim Hopkinson, is committed to maintain the momentum of modernisation and continuous improvement.” Gary lives at Newport in South Wales with his wife Shirley and has two children.

Terry Smith has already seen sales surge since he took over the east London Ductshop, but says modestly, “There is no special formula, it is really about looking after your customers, keeping stocks in order, having what people want and giving good, reliable service,”

When not working Terry is kept busy by his wife and two grown up daughters, but in his time off he is a keen Spurs supporter.
