New Telecoms, Data, Vision, Broadband and Mobile Provider LaunchesA new entrant to the telecom service market, Crown Telecom Solutions is offering a full raft of services including telephone systems, line rental, broadband/data services, mobile phones and simplified straightforward billing. A fully accredited BT wholesale partner, Crown Telecom offer high service levels, with access to developing technologies such as voice over internet protocol (VoIP). The company will be targeting their service to business users nationwide. Leading the new venture is managing director Mark Nicklin, a 15 year veteran of the telecoms industry. After early career experience with Stanhope Telecom and Aerofone, Mark moved on to set-up GP Telecom with Tim Price in 2001. This business grew steadily before its sale to Elite in 2008, where Mark remained before setting up Crown Telecom within the NW based Crown Group, “The new telecoms business fits very comfortably with the rest of the Crown operation which has a strong service ethos and a commitment to innovation in operations and technology,” Mark explained. “You can take it as read that we will be competitive, but our major point of difference will be service. All our customers will have dedicated account managers. Their role will be to review service on a quarterly basis, not just to ensure that companies are using the best tariffs and technology, but also to anticipate and overcome any potential problems. Our aim is to overcome billing issues, service outages and any other glitches to ensure smooth and trouble free service delivery,” Mark added. The agreement with BT, under which Crown is a WLR3 (wholesale line rental 3) provider, makes them one of a small number of fully accredited service resellers. As such they will have access to the latest BT technology. This includes superfast fibre based broadband for vision and data. They will be able to order and allocate lines more quickly and to proactively monitor lines for faults at 20 minute intervals to maintain high standards of service availability. Crown Telecom has also partnered with industry leading hardware providers and will be able to offer PBX systems from Toshiba, Siemens, Panasonic and AVAYA. Their experienced team of engineers will optimise system performance, ensure consistent and reliable operation and that equipment remains future proof. With a history spanning more than 65 years, Crown is a North West company that has grown consistently over the past decade. A major regional supplier of fuel oils, road fuels and lubricants, the company has diversified in recent years to become a national supplier of gas and electricity services to major companies. The company also has a specialist division that coordinates utility connections to new developments. “This is an exciting time and we have a team that is lean, keen and ready to shake-up the telecoms market by offering a level of user attention and service that customers have been crying out for,” Mark concluded.
